I have worked with Active Learning ECD staff for a long time. Amazing school! Small classes one on one attention. The staff are professional and very friendly. I would recommend this school without hesitation.
Both my kids are with them. Both girls are very happy and it's some days a battle to get them to go home. My 5 year old has started her "schooling" with Teacher De and this year she will Graduate Gr R at Active Learning, while my 2 year old will walk the same amazing path as her sitter hand in hand with Teacher D
I joined the Active Learning Family this year February as a Junior Class Teacher. I can honestly say I am so happy to be a part of this school. It is so refreshing to be in such a happy and loving environment where the children love coming to school. They enjoy their daily routine and activities and more so they thrive from the one on one attention they receive from us teachers. Active Learning has changed my views on what it means to be a nursery school teacher.
Amazing school! They have small classes and give each child one on one attention. They treat the children like family. Their communication with the parents is also outstanding and they provide yearly calendars to make sure we are all up-to-date with themes and events that take place throughout the year. Parents also receive daily updates and pictures of the kiddies via whatsapp giving us piece of mind that all the kids are happy and actively learning each day.

Robin Clark2023-06-15I just wanted to leave my little comment about this amazing school My daughter joined active learning when she was 5 so she was there for a year and she finished grade R with teacher Dee This school is now her aftercare each and every day this is not just a school but her second home Thank you for all that you guys do and being her second family you guys always go above and beyond And my son is going on his 2nd year with this amazing school thank you for loving our babies as much as we do they have both grown so much since being with you thank you teacher Dee for running such a beautiful school And for being such a good mom to my babas you guys are so loved and so appreciated!!!recommends

I Have 2 children who attended Active Learning Early Childhood Development Centre, They have both improved immensely since attending and are running miles ahead of their milestones due to the support and care that this amazing team puts into educating our children. They provide weekly themes and daily activities that engage and stimulate their young minds. Teacher De provides updates throughout the week to all parents. They are equipped to handle children with ADHD and do so with love and compassion, Both my children have not only found a school where they can stay until matric but they have found a family aswell. Principal Dee and the Active team take care of my children as if they were their own, giving them a safe and loving environment where they can grow and develop new skills and make new friends. I highly recommend this school to all parents.recommends

The level of communication from the team is phenomenal; personal, prompt & daily updates regarding my toddler gives me peace of mind. My toddler simply loves the activities & can’t get enough of the Friday Fun Days!!! Topics for weekly themed learning are brilliant & my toddler has absorbed so much. Teacher De is extremely accommodating & goes the extra-mile to ensure that both kids & parents are happy. The team does a great job of making each child feel loved & special. Not only that I feel so comfortable sending him to school daily the staff always ensure the kids safety. Teacher D has definitely eased alot of my worries. My son absolutely LOVES going to school... Jane Rudman2023-05-21My daughter started at active learning around august last year and I was very sceptical because its my first child but within the first week of her going there I wouldn't change it for the world. Deandre has created a safe space for all the kids and my daughter loves going to school everyday... They are always getting up to something whether it be decorating balloons or making pancakes ! My daughter loves holiday club during the school breaks with all the different activities they do - she has grown so much Deandre has become such a big part of my daughters childhood and I'm very grateful for everything she does to love and protect her I highly recommend Active Learning to anyone who wants their kid to be excited to go to school everyday knowing they having fun and learning at the same timerecommends

I saw such a drastic change in her behavior as well as in her education. She absolutely loves going to school and talking to me about her day which was never the case before. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is interested, the teachers are so loving and attentive I get daily updates on my daughter and it's honestly just so refreshing seeing my little one so happy. Deandre has really created such a safe space for all the children and treats all of them like they are her own. As well as she has made sure to have tip top staff that have the same vision as she does for the school and for the kids. Active Learning is small...but dynamite really does come in small packages and this school has really shown what an impact a small school can make.recommends

Myself and my children absolutely love the school and teachers, the ladies are very friends and professional.,you can see they love what they do. The school is always clean and tidy. our kids get so much attention and the food well maybe I should get some lessons because my kids are obsessed. My triplets being prem were extremely behind and we were so worried about them but not even after 3 months of them being at active learning day care Centre we had new children they were talking, happy and knew their fundamentals. I would highly recommend this school to anyone. I garentee your kids will not be looked after and loved any more than at this school. Keep up the good work ladies.recommends
Kimberly Wilson2021-03-10We recently moved to jhb from durban and to find a school was hard and stressful for us, untill I came across active day care what and amazing school quick response and sufficient, we looked at the school on a Saturday the monday my boys started no hassles, my boys have never been more happier in any other school as what they are now, the education is good my boys have improved alot and I am very thankful for than, amazing school wonderful teachers very open and understanding and they really truly care for each and every child as if it were their own. It is an amazing school I wouldn't change it for the world.recommends

She spends the afternoons here and gets excellent help with homework and is included in all the activities that Teacher Dee has planned. Her personality has come out a lot since she started going to Dee. Teacher Dee is kind hearted and treats all of the children as if they were her own. A special part of my daughter's day is going to Teacher Dee❤
